To celebrate the unstoppable and incredible women of the UAE, Level Shoes hosted its very first Emirati Women’s Day event over the weekend.

Uniting the empowering women of this nation is one intimate setting, Level Shoes’ first physical event to mark the special day ensured to support Emirati creatives and designers.

The venue was hosted at Emirati owned venue HOST Café and flower arrangements were also created by AUMÈDAN, a local florist owned by Emirati siblings Ahmad and Noura Almuhassin.

Each honourable guest who attended the exclusive event also received a bespoke gift courtesy of Her Highness Sheikha Mariam bint Khalifa bin Saif Al Nahyan, the founder and designer behind MKS Jewellery.

This contemporary fine jewellery brand translates the spirit of self-expression through each piece. From celebrating diversity to design elements that are meant to last forever, Her Highness is inspired by her rich heritage and has beautifully incorporated this into her passion for jewellery and empowering women.

Discussing the event, Elisa Bruno, General Manager of Level Shoes, stated that it was important “now more than ever” to connect people “on a more personal level”.

“We didn’t want to just celebrate the event across our platforms like we always do, we wanted to bring people together in a space that resonates to our local community and allows them to share their experiences with one another,” she said.

Since its launch in 2012, Level Shoes has always sought to empower the women of this nation and ensure the Emirati community have always been kept at the forefront of their brand mindset. In particular, seeing women making strides across the nation, is something that inspires Level Shoes, which Elisa notes.

“As a female leader, it inspires me to see women go far, and I believe that wearing the right pair of shoes can take them even farther,” she added.
