Local jewellery brand Phioro is launching its first showroom today. Located in Jumeirah Lake Towers, the space will display gorgeous collections of bridal, costume and bespoke jewels. And, best of all, you’re invited to the grand opening.
Phioro was established in 2008 and, since then, has grown to become one of the region’s most promising jewellery brands. Thanks to A-list clients including Katy Perry, Lily Cole, Michelle Rodriguez and Sarah Bolger, Phioro’s unique pieces are gaining interest all over the world. With an onus on all things luxury and bespoke, this fine jewellery house is renowned for distinct and intricate designs.
The brand name ‘Phioro’ is derived from two words: phi, a Greek symbol for beauty and ono, the Italian word for gold. The ancient Greeks saw phi as a symbol of perfection and proportions, which, coupled with ono’s connotations of quality and finery, explains the brand’s core values.
The founder and designer visionary behind Phioro is Clare Pardoe, a Dubai native with British heritage. Coming from a line of artists, Clare was destined to become a creative. After graduating with a degree in Jewellery and Silversmithing, she began working on a brand that would combine her British-Emirati upbringing. Drawing on eastern and western fashions, Clare specialises in turning precious stones and metals into works of art.
Clare said of today’s launch: “We excited about the launch of our first showroom in Dubai, where we will be showcasing our latest hypnotic collections. Each collection is inspired by a deep concept, which allows our clients to express themselves with our striking, limited edition jewellery. Our pieces are designed to evoke a timeless feeling and existence, creating treasures of the future.”
