Any designer will tell you that getting a celebrity endorsement can have an instant impact on your brand growth. Just look at the effect Meghan Markle and Beyoncé have when they step out in any designer, the pieces instantly sell out.
This sort of support is even more important to up-and-coming names in the industry so we are pretty certain that Egyptian designer Leila Abo Tira would’ve been leaping for joy when she saw Kylie Jenner in one of her creations.
The Cairo-based creative is the founder of accessories brand ALIEL (Leila spelt backwards) and a shoulder bag from her most recent collection Ghalia was chosen by the beauty mogul for a night out celebrating Justine Skye’s 25th birthday.

The reality TV star posted her OTD on Instastories that she shot at Hailey Bieber’s Beverly Hills home with her sister Kendall Jenner. In the video, she is seen wearing a scarf print halter neck top with jeans which perfectly complimented the peach geometric shaped shoulder bag that features two straps – a long chain strap and a shorter strap made from agate stone which you can also remove.
The bag, priced at around Dhs1,175, is sold out on the brand’s website as are the other seven styles, but we did some digging and there are several styles available on Eastwave Concept – a virtual pop-up concept that supports an array of designers the Middle East and North African regions.

Abo Tira established the brand in 2017 and comes from a family of leather manufacturers. Focusing on creating something different and unique each time, her bags have grabbed the attention of international and regional celebrities including Salma Abu Deif.
