From Jennifer Behr to Noor Fares

Diamonds are still a girl’s best friend, but when it comes to shopping for sparkle, nowadays we are looking to contemporary brands that offer something unique.

Over the years there has been an increase in fine jewellery brands that fill the gap between high-street and historical Maisons. They offer beautifully designed pieces using diamonds and other precious materials to create modern collections that you could happily gift yourself.

One person that has noticed this trend is Duha Al Ramadhan. Since 2014 she has been bringing a considerable selection of niche fine jewellery brands to the Middle East through her boutique Aubade, playing a pivotal role in the growth of fine contemporary jewellery in the region.

Before we all started to get our piercings at Maria Tash in the Dubai Mall, it was Duha who first introduced the edgy brand to the Middle East. Thanks to her, you can shop Anita Ko; Shay; Eera; and Spinelli Kilcollin; as well as pieces from celebrity piercer, Stephanie Anders.

At Aubade you can always expect a curated selection of both leading and emerging contemporary jewellery brands from Ana Khouri, Anita Ko and Maria Tash to Foundrae, Jennifer Behr and Noor Fares. Most recently they have introduced EÉRA jewellery from Milan that focuses on pieces inspired by snap hooks.

Kuwait-based magpies can head to its flagship store in Kuwait City, but you can also explore their edit through a digital boutique.
