A star-studded guest list
Over the weekend, Oscar winning actress, Jennifer Lawrence wed art gallerist Cooke Maroney in a Rhode Island wedding. The couple tied-the-knot in a star-studded ceremony, attended by everyone from Adele to Kris Jenner.
Over the years, the 29-year-old actress has spoken about her love for reality tv, and specifically the Kardashians. So, it comes as no surprise that momager and the matriarch of the Kardashian-Jenner clan was part of the attendees. For the wedding, Kris turned to Lebanese designer to the stars, Reem Acra.
The reality star stunned in a black form fitting dress from the label’s Ready-to-wear 17 collection. The floor-length gown featured a bold, metal and crystal bodice. Kris paired the dress with a black saddle Dior bag and diamond earrings.

Kris wasn’t the only famous face, as the guest-list included names like: Sienna Miller, Emma Stone and Amy Schumer. The wedding took place in the mansion Belcourt of Newport and even though it is rumoured to be haunted, it does have a swoon worthy ballroom.

Other than being an award-winning actress, Jennifer is also the face of Christian Dior’s fragrance. So it comes as no surprise that she turned to the French fashion house for her big day. According to People the newly wed wore a Dior gown to her wedding, which was attended by 150 guests.
Back in June, Jennifer talked about her engagement to Cooke on the NAKED with Catt Sadler podcast. She said: “I definitely wasn’t at a place where I was like, ‘I’m ready to get married.’ I just met Cooke and I wanted to marry him. We wanted to marry each other. We wanted to commit fully.”

“He’s my best friend, so I want to legally bind him to me forever,” she said. “And fortunately the paperwork exists for such a thing. It’s the greatest. You find your favourite person on the planet and, you’re like, ‘You can’t leave!’ So I wanted to take that offer.”
