Will the show be the same?

After 17 seasons as one of the stars of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Kourtney Kardashian is throwing in the towel. The reality series propelled the Kardashian-Jenner clan to the highs of stardom, making them one of the most famous families in the world.

However, after 12-years on our TV screens, the oldest of the Kardashian sisters announced that she is leaving the show that made her famous. For years, it has been hinted at that Kourtney is not as dedicated to the show and business as much as her sister. And a lot of the drama in the series revolves around her lack of commitment.

The reality star revealed that she is stepping away from the spotlight to focus her attention on her three children. Kourtney is a mother to Mason, Penelope and Reign, all of who were part of the series from the day they were born. “I just decided to spend more time as a mum and put more of my energy there,” she told Entertainment Tonight.

But, it doesn’t seem like it will be a permanent decision. In the interview, Kourtney revealed that she will be part of season 18, which is being filmed at the moment, and her decision will be discussed in it. “But I’m not saying goodbye… I think you’ll have to see more of it on the new season, season 18,” Kourt added. “It isn’t airing yet, but it’s being filmed. Currently, in this room.”

Khloe, who was alongside her older sister said that she doesn’t think that Kourt will be saying goodbye for good. “We definitely love Kourtney and we will miss Kourtney and whatever she decides to do, but people come, people go all the time in this family. We feel like it’s a revolving door, so Kourtney might leave this week, she’ll be back. They all come back.”

As well as focusing on her three kids, this break will also give Kourtney all the time she needs to focus on her own personal endeavour, Poosh, which she launched back in April. The beauty and lifestyle website is the reality star’s first project separate from her sisters, and ever since its launch has been making headlines with her honest posts, like the recent Photoshop-free one of her proudly embracing her stretch marks.
