Their Majesties King Abdullah II and Queen Rania celebrated 76 years since Jordan became an independent state in a special way.
The royal couple stepped out on May 25, 2022, at Al Husseiniya Palace for a special ceremony to mark the anniversary when Jordan gained its independence from the British government.
The Jordanian monarch and Queen Rania were joined by their children Crown Prince Hussein, Princess Iman and Prince Hashem – Princess Salma did not appear to be in attendance – as well as other dignitaries and senior officials.
The theme of the ceremony celebrated the future of the nation, highlighting the younger generations who will carry the flag for the country.
King Abdullah presented a number of royal medals at the ceremony and a number of acts also performed for the guests.
Queen Rania shared a number of photos from the special occasion. “God bless our country and its people,” she said in the caption of the post.
