Days after announcing the shapewear line that she’s been working on for a year and developed in wide range of sizes and nine skin tones, the reality TV star and trainee lawyer announced on Instagram that she will change the name of the brand.
“I am always listening, learning and growing – I so appreciate the passion and varied perspectives that people bring to me,” she writes. “When I announced the name of my shapewear line, I did so with the best intentions in mind. My brands and products are built with inclusivity and diversity at their core and after careful thought and consideration, I will be launching my Solutionwear brand under a new name.”
Thank you for all the support on this issue, really appreciate people who understand our frustration.

The criticism was widespread with many using #KimOhNo to voice their concern. Most felt that her choice of “kimono” disrespected Japanese culture and disregarded the significance behind the traditional outfit. The long-sleeved Japanese robe dates back to the 16th Century.
Despite not directly apologising. Kardashian West responded in the best possible way and added that she will announce the new name soon.
