Katy Perry knows how to make a dramatic reveal – announcing to fans that she is expecting her first child with Orlando Bloom in her new video.
Last night, the 35-year-old dropped the new music video for Never Worn White, her first single in 2020. The clip features shots of Katy wearing big flowy dresses and it isn’t until the end of the video that she debuts a sizable bump. Referencing her pregnancy on Instagram, the singer posted a part of the song writing: “Let’s just say it’s gonna be a jam packed summer… 🎶♥️🙂”

Katy and Orland have been together for over three years now, and got engaged on Valentines Day 2019. The actor proposed with a one of a kind flower shaped halo diamond ring with a pink diamond in the center. The Teenage Dream singer opened up about her engagement recently Stellar Magazine, explaining that she’s “a bridechilla as opposed to a bridezilla.”

While this will be Katy’s first child, it won’t be the same for her fiancé. The Lord of the Rings actor is already a father to 9-year-old son Flynn, whom he shares with ex-wife Miranda Kerr. This will be a new era in the singers life, as she sang about her fears of commitment in her latest single. However, she also sings about how ready she is for a life of happiness with another person.
“Cause I’ve never worn white/But I wanna get it right/Yeah, I really wanna try with you,” the American Idol judge sings in the chorus. “No, I’ve never worn white/But I’m standin’ here tonight/Cause I really wanna say ‘I do.’”
