Guess where it’s from

Looks like team EW and Kate Middleton have something in common, our love for this major high street brand.

As much as we love seeing her in Alexander McQueen – by far her favourite designer label – knowing that she also appreciates a good high-street splurge makes her one of our favourite royals.

Duke and Duchess of Cambridge travelled to Bradford where they visited a local restaurant. Kate removed her Alexander McQueen green coat to reveal a houndstooth dress from none other than Zara. A chic print that never goes out of style, she paired the dress with Aspinal’s Mayfair bag and black block heels by Gianvito Rossi. Her earrings are also a bargain – £8 (Dhs40) from Zeen.

Originally her Zara dress was priced at around Dhs430, but it was spotted in the sale for roughly Dhs80. We have a feeling that this royally approved piece has sold out, but there are always numerous houndstooth-print options at the stores this season.

According to their Instagram feed, the couple visited My Lahore restauran which has taken inspiration from Lahore, known as the Food Capital of Pakistan, visited by The Duke and Duchess in 2019.

“The Duke and Duchess tried their hands at making mango lassis before sitting down to meet representatives from the UK Women’s Muslim Council and people who have benefitted from the Council’s Curry Circle.

The Curry Circle, which is sponsored by MyLahore, is an initiative that provides a hot two-course meal for people who are homeless or struggling to feed themselves.”
