Tinseltown has welcomed a new celebrity baby with Jessica Biel giving birth to a baby boy. New daddy Justin Timberlake is elated!
The gorgeous Hollywood couple welcomed Silas Randall Timberlake into the world early Saturday morning and according to reps both Jessica Biel and baby are doing well.
Unlike other celebrity parents Justin Timberlake and his wife of three years decided to go for a relatively normal name for their child – no Apple (child of Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin), Peaches (child of Bob Geldof) or Kyd (child of David Duchovny and Tea Leoni). In fact, the name Randall is some what of a tradition in the Timberlake family – it’s Justin’s second name and his dad’s first. While Silas was the middle name of Justin’s maternal grandfather Bill Bomar, who died in 2012.
Justin and Jessica were relatively tightlipped when it came to their pregnancy. After months of speculation the couple revealed their news to the world in January with the Cry Me A River singer posting an adorable picture of him kissing Jessica’s bump on social media. He added the cute caption: “Thank you EVERYONE for the Bday wishes! This year, I’m getting the GREATEST GIFT EVER. CAN’T WAIT. #BoyOrGirl #YouNeverKnow #WeDontEvenKnow #WeAreTakingBets.”
Jessica is believed to have had a healthy pregnancy with the star regularly spotted running her usual errands and keeping fit, all the while looking more glowing than ever. Despite usually being quite secretive about their personal relationships, just weeks before she gave birth Justin has been regularly taking to Instagram to gush about his wife. Last month her posted a sweet picture of the duo to celebrate the Total Recall actress’s 33rd birthday. He commented: “Happy Bday to the sweetest, most GORGEOUS, goofiest, most BAD-ASS chick O know. You make me smile ’til it hurts. I love you like crazy! — Your Huz!”
When discussing his imminent role as daddy, Justin said: “I can’t wait to see our greatest creation yet. Daddy’s heading home right now to innovate by learning how to change a poopy diaper and get my swaddle on!”
It’s been a great year for Justin Timberlake who also recently won the Innovator Award at the iHeartRadio Music Awards.
