Founded by a sisters Nafsika and Stephanie Skourti in Amman, the contemporary Jordanian brand Nafsika Skourti continues to expand it’s world of crisply cut silhouettes, opulent fabrics and glittering embellishments.
With intellectual glam at the core of the brand, as well as desire to carve out a ‘new sexy’ aesthetic in the region, the brand has become a go-to for those who are looking for alternative going out pieces.

Flirty and seductive, Nafsika Skourti focuses on cool silhouettes that empower women. Desirable, culturally relevant and beautifully crafted, some of their newest pieces include a velvet black tuxedo dress with couture contrast white sleeves, as well as corset style sheer blouse that can be layered over a crisp shirt.
Blending the opulence of the Eighties and the grunge of the Nineties, the design duo has also introduced printed mesh tops that can be worn over a bralette, or layered underneath a simple slip dress.

One of the biggest breakout moments for the brand came when The Victoria and Albert acquired the denim Jerusalem jacket, emblazoned with symbolism from their Jordanian, Greek, and Palestinian heritage, for its permanent collection.
Nafsika has the creative gene and graduated from Central Saint Martins before going on to train in haute couture embroidery and passementerie at Ecole Lesage in Paris, which then lead her to work at Marchesa. Stephanie on the other hand studied law and spent five years at Goldman Sachs, but eventually her path led her into the world of fashion.
Not only are they offering something different in the busy clothing market, but they are also using the platform to give back by employing refugee women who skillfully execute some of the embroideries.
