Pop of colour
Whether you’re a minimalist or dress in all the colours of the rainbow, one of the simplest and subtle ways to inject some colour into your outfit is through jewellery.
Messika is known for being a diamond brand, but for the first time designer and founder Valerie Messika has decided to introduce colourful stones into her designs. Seen across the Lucky Move range (part of the celebrated Move collection) she based her choice of hues on personal preference, adding even more playfulness to the pieces.
“‘I have replaced the gold with an ornamental stone, but it is not faceted like a diamond,” she explains. “It’s a first, but for this decidedly playful collection designed to bring good luck, adding colour seemed like an obvious choice.”
For the Middle East, she has unveiled a dazzling green shade, named Malachite. Its prominent green colour comes from the presence of copper in its composition, an intense and vibrant hue that represents confidence and strength of any woman who chooses it. There are three versions of the necklace to choose from.
A dazzling way to celebrate Ramadan, which is predicted to start on April 24.
