Bringing Back 90’s Cool
The label’s brand ambassador features in yet another Calvin Klein campaign. Jeremy Allen White is seen wearing the Cotton Stretch Tank Top which features a sleek scoop-neckline in a soft cotton material to ooze effortless comfort. Paired with the 90’s Straight Jean, Allen brings back a laidback 90’s aesthetic that Calvin Klein is known for amongst Hollywood. All while seeming to make a sandwich. This is truly the epitome of stripped back ease.
If Carmy had a Calvin Klein Campaign
The set tributes White’s latest piece of work. The TV show The Bear is an American comedy-drama in which a young check working in fine dining returns home to Chicago to run his family’s sandwich shop after the passing of a family member. Bearing the realities of owning a small business, White’s character Carmy goes through the struggle of transforming the shop and in turn, himself. His new kitchen crew end up becoming his chosen family. A full circle moment.
Standing against the counter, we are able to see the jean’s straight leg cool. A mid-rise jean with a straight leg, the bottoms scream comfort casual. This is a closet staple. The dark wash is perfect for the cooler seasons, able to pair it with some chunky knits, or perhaps something lighter, like the soft cotton white tank. The straight leg gives you the chance to choose between sneaker, loafer or boot – giving the illusion of a longer leg. In like manner, White’s second outfit reinforces the visual interpretation of the word laid-back.
