If you are looking to up your Ramadan jewellery game, then get familiar with Jacquie Aiche. The designer was born to an Egyptian father and Native American mother, and her mixed culture is evident in her designs. She kick-started her own company back in 2007, and in the 12-years since has managed to draw in Hollywood A-listers like Rihanna, Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid.
On her website, the designer explained the inspiration behind her brand: “A woman’s natural beauty can be illuminated with the right piece of jewellery, and that is my mission. To create jewellery that will make every woman look and feel uniquely beautiful.” Jacquie’s bohemian vibe is reflected into her namesake label, which offers a range of delicate-yet-dazzling jewels that the designer recommends be worn layered and stacked.
When it comes to the brand’s aesthetic, the designer mixes between her different heritage. She merges the Native American turquoise relics, fossils and precious gemstones, with the Middle Eastern influences of hammered gold, amulets and goddess imagery. Jacquie used to dabble in jewellery-making as a hobby while managing a clothing boutique in Los Angeles. Then, she designed finger bracelet, which was the push she needed to start her own company.

It is no surprise that her talent for creating trendy fine jewellery has earned her a spot within Hollywood It-girls must-haves. She has worked and been worn by several stars, which includes Alessandra Ambrosio, Behati Prinsloo and Emily Ratajkowski who are all her muses. Back in 2015, Jacquie collaborated with Rihanna on a collection of flash tattoos. The collaboration included a seven-sheet set that includes cuticle and knuckle wraps, a DIY chain set and nameplates, arm bands, chains and gothic letter tattoos.
