Bulgari, the renowned Roman jewelleer, has unveiled its most remarkable collection ever created to celebrate its 140th anniversary.

Named Aeterna, which signifies “eternal” in Latin, the collection embodies Bulgari’s heritage of innovation and its ability to reinvent itself throughout time.

A Masterpiece in Diamonds: The Serpenti Aeterna Necklace

The centerpiece of the collection is the Serpenti Aeterna necklace, a dazzling display of Bulgari’s mastery in crafting high jewelry. This extraordinary piece features over 2,800 hours of meticulous work and embodies Bulgari’s groundbreaking spirit.
Breaking away from tradition, Bulgari chose diamonds as the central element instead of colored gemstones, which are typically a Bulgari signature. The necklace features a rough diamond of over 200 carats, meticulously cut into seven D flawless pear-shaped drops totaling 140 carats, symbolizing Bulgari’s 140-year legacy. These exceptional diamonds are embraced by a sinuous, three-dimensional wave structure in platinum, adorned with a further 698 baguette diamonds totaling 61.81 carats. The design flows with the flexibility of a snake, culminating in the iconic Serpenti clasp,representing eternal rebirth.

The Aeterna collection was unveiled in Rome at a spectacular event held at the Terme di Diocleziano… The collection was presented alongside Bulgari’s new timepieces, fragrances, and handbags, all created to celebrate the brand’s 140th anniversary.
