For Paris Couture Week, Chanel’s haute couture FW22/23 presentation took the fashion world by storm.

Without shying away from its staple trademark, the runway saw a myriad of tweed pieces and reimagined silhouettes from the 1930s.

“In this new collection, there are suits, long dresses like Mademoiselle Chanel imagined them in the 1930s: fitted to the body even though they have strong shoulders here, and pleated dresses like the wedding dress for instance,” the house’s artistic director, Virginie Viard, said.

With a new take on equestrian pieces, the muses stood out with chic cowgirl ensembles such as co-ord sets, capri-style pants, bohemian shawls, and the classic nature-ready boots, all designed to celebrate the joy of uninterrupted comfort.
