We can’t imagine a world without Huda Beauty, but once upon a time it was just a blog in the making and now, 10 years on, Huda Kattan has created the ultimate makeup empire, inspiring millions of people around the world.
As of April 29, 2020, the makeup mogul celebrated the 10-year anniversary of her blog, which was once a place for her review makeup products and share her love for the beauty industry.
Taking to her Instagram story, Huda reflected upon the time she first launched her website a decade ago.
“I still remember back to when i launched it, I was in a really funky place, I didn’t know what I wanted to do or where I wanted to go with it,” she candidly admitted. “But I just knew I wanted to express my opinions and my thoughts on products, and the things I was learning behind photo shoots.
“It’s really amazing to see where the blog has come.”

Yep it’s definitely amazing, it’s also talented, brilliant, incredible, amazing, show stopping, spectacular, never the same, totally unique, completely not ever been done before, as Lady Gaga would say.
We digress. Huda went on to say HudaBeauty.com is “so much more beyond who [she is]”, has become bigger than “anything [she could] have imagined”.
Speaking directly to her followers, the entrepreneur also encouraged everyone to realise how “special” they are, and that anyone can achieve their dreams.
In celebration of her blog’s 10 year anniversary, Huda posted a special video of highlights from the last decade.
Three years after her blog launched, she started her eponymous brand back in 2013 with her sisters and husband, offering a range of false eyelashes. Seven years on Huda Beauty now offers an array of makeup products, and just recently Huda launched her skincare line Wishful.
