It’s up to you, New York, New York

Our Fashion Editor, Natalie Westernoff talks all things New York Fashion Week with Client Stylist at Farfetch, Lamia Dahmash. Dare to be bold? Lamia is known for her instinctive style and isn’t afraid of colour and clashing prints.

Lamia searches high and low for her clients to look their best for events and seasons alike, so what better person to speak to about fashion month than her? After living in London and attending LCF (The London College of Fashion) she thrived on vintage treasures and worked on curating her style. As a Client Stylist Lamia strives to give her customers variety and choice at Farfetch, searching high and low for unique pieces.

Our Fashion Editor had a great time chatting to her about what to wear to kick off fashion month. We were really feeling all the colour, green being a major hit with the stylist. “Style is about being unique” Lamia mentioned.  Our Fashion Editor agreed, “Trends are a part of the fashion cycle, but, we must always stay true to ourselves and our instincts and wear things that make us feel good.”

With a host of designers on show, the top picks were Christopher Kane booties, Ellery earrings, the Maggie Marilyn skirt and who can forget that green dress by Materiel Tibilisi! So if you are wondering what to wear this season on the streets of New York, London, Milan or even Paris, just remember when you are styling up your look, to be creative, be stylish and above all, be yourself.
