This week, we speak to Kenza Bourgi, the Creative Brand Marketing and E-commerce Manager at Nour Hammour.

Nour Hammour is a Parisian ready-to-wear house focused on luxury outerwear. The label draws inspiration from the evolving aesthetic of women’s lives. The collections are considered for elegance and longevity with designs that empower and elevate, requisite to everyday dress. Each piece is an artisanal construction created to be prized and passed down.
To delve into her journey as a creative lead, Emirates Woman spoke to Bourgi to see how it began for her in the fashion world.
What was your favourite subject at school?
Probably literature or philosophy — _I always loved understanding how people think, communicate, and express themselves. Honestly, I was never really excited about school. I was more interested in learning by doing — _and once I started working everything made sense.
What was your first job?
I fell into it almost naturally. My first job was at Nour Hammour, where I started in Sales and ended up fully immersed in the Creative side. From Sales Showroom to Content Creator to Website Manager to PR to organizing the Campaigns — also modeling sometimes for the brand — I’ve touched a bit of everything and grown with the brand along the way. I’ve been there ever since — growing and learning.
What inspired you to enter the space for Nour Hammour?
It just made sense. I believed in the product, the people, the vision — and I wanted to grow with it. There was something raw, real and refined about the brand that felt aligned with me. I just knew I wanted to be part of the story.
Talk us through the concept.
For me, Nour Hammour is about strength and ease and finding balance through outerwear. At its core, it’s defined by attitude and silhouette. It started with leather, but has grown into something much bigger — _a wardrobe of elevated staples with edge. What I love most is that’ it’s designed by women, for women – with a real understanding of how we move, how we live, and what makes us feel confident. They’re not just beautiful jackets – they hold you, they carry something.

What lies ahead for the brand?
My role is really 360 — _I get to touch so many parts of the Marketing. I manage the website and social platforms, handle PR and influencer relations, organize the shoots, and lead different creative projects. I also end up modeling sometimes. I get to do a bit of everything and that’s what makes it so interesting.
Talk us through your daily routine.
No day looks the same and that’s what I love about it. Some days I’m deep into planning content or updating the website, others I’m either modeling or on set running around outside. It’s a mix of creative, digital and production – always moving. I switch between creative and strategic constantly.
What advice do you have for anyone looking to follow in the same footsteps?
Get your hands on as much as you can — try different things and don’t be afraid to start small. Experience is what shapes you. Be curious and be present. What people remember is your energy, your attitude, and how you make things move.
Tell us about the pieces.
They’re strong but easy – that’s what I love most. You throw one on and it gives you presence. You don’t even need to think about the rest of your outfit. We design with longevity in mind. These are the kind of pieces you invest in and keep — _the ones that get better with time. I always think of them as collectible, almost like future heirlooms. They’re not trend-driven – they’re made to last and to mean something. There’s something powerful about wearing a Nour Hammour piece as everything feels considered.
What’s the best piece of advice you have ever received?
It works if you work it. That really stuck with me. Things don’t just fall into place – you have to show up, do the work, stay open and keep moving that’s what makes the difference Honestly don’t be afraid to make mistakes as that’s where you learn the most. You figure it out as you go.
And what is the worst?
“Stick to your lane.” Why? The mix is what makes it interesting — and that’s where the best ideas come from. I’ve learned the most by touching different sides of the process — not by limiting myself to one role.
What lies ahead for the brand?
There’s a real momentum right now _and we feel it. So much is happening — _and even more is coming. The next step is to grow while staying sharp: keep the identity strong, keep the pieces meaningful. I can’t wait for what’s next – and I’m so proud to be a part of it.
