Emirates Woman had the opportunity to speak to two exclusive labels – ILLUSTRELLA and Serrb – who’ve launched their Ramadan capsule edit at Harvey Nichols – Dubai by effortlessly empowering women through their pieces.

Bringing impeccably tailored cuts while emulating a sense of graceful femininity through handcrafted elements, Emirati brand ILLUSTRELLA oozes charm through its latest Ramadan capsule as the founders share their journey in creating this bespoke collection.

Inspired by flora and fauna, the brand’s latest collection, ‘Bouquet de Fleurs’, beautifully reflects on the little things in life that ‘brings us joy’ as stated by founders Alia, Afra and Ahad Bin Haider. The sisters explained that this season the purpose was to channel their love for flowers and how bouquets symbolize creativity, beauty and hope.

Describing the ILLUSTRELLA woman, the founders convey her as confident and bold in her fashion choices, she’s not afraid to experiment with her look as the pieces allow women to express themselves confidently through the years.

“The brand is founded on the idea of redefining everyday glamour through timeless designs,” they told Emirates Woman. “Inspired by 40s and 50s Hollywood glamour, our brand offers a classic update to traditional silhouettes.”

As for the stand out pieces, the sisters highlighted the Acacia dress, the Lily dress and the Zenobia dress.

“The Acacia Dress is curated from a two-tone plissé fabric while adding drama to the same fabric with cape-inspired sleeves for the Lily dress,” they said. “To create a classical style with intricate details using the high neck and bell sleeves, the Zenobia dress is also a stand-out piece.”

Meanwhile, Serrb – a fashion brand founded by Emirati sisters Budoor, Noor and Sarah Al Khaja – which is also part of the Harvey Nichols – Dubai capsule collection for Ramadan, focuses on clean lines and a fresh outlook that stems from the aesthetic of summer wear.

Designed for the woman who embraces power within her, the Emirati sisters focus on the aspect of empowering women through signature clean-cut designs which are showcased through a strong colour palette.

For the Al Khaja sisters, they are all about key pieces which can be taken from day to night.

“The two-toned abaya coat and the abaya coat with beaded fringe details at the back which can take you from day to night making it ideal for Iftars and Suhoor,” they said. “These coats can tie any outfit together when paired with flowy kaftans, kitten heels and minimal jewellery.”

The Ramadan collection includes other brands such as Rasario, Bambah, Louisa Parris, MARMAR HALIM and IAM MAI which are all available at Harvey Nichols – Dubai at Mall of the Emirates.
