There’s no denying the talent from UAE-based designers matches that from others on a global scale, but breaking into the world of fashion can be a difficult one.

Getting your designs and name seen by the right people is a challenge in itself, let alone the creation process.

However, one global brand is currently on the hunt for the future of fashion with a new competition, giving the chance for an up and coming designer – who could be from the UAE – to create a capsule collection.

PrettyLittleThing is looking for “fashion’s future” where the designer’s entering the competition will be asked to create a range of five to 10 designs, showing off their talent which could appear on their global e-commerce platform.

Given that PLT recently launched in the UAE, this is the perfect time for up and coming designers in the region to enter.

What you have to do

Those looking to enter, you need to sketch out five to 10 designs and submit them in PDF form ensuring they have a clear front and back view of each style. These designs should be commercial, as they will be sold on the platform for their February 2021 launch, which isn’t far off!

The competition is currently accepting entries and will close on 27 September 2020, so get your designs in quickly. The winner will be announced on September 30, 2020.

Good luck!
