Uber Eats is celebrating its 2nd birthday in the UAE with this fabulous deal

The weather in the UAE is finally cooling down again, which means we’re coming out of air con hibernation and getting beach-ready for the winter season.

Something to ease the transition?  This month one of our favourite food delivery services, Uber Eats is offering 2 for 1 deals across some of the best healthy restaurants in the city (saving money + eating healthily? Double win).

Overall, there are more than 400 restaurants across numerous cuisine types taking part in the deal, including some of our healthy favourites listed below.

Soup fans should try ordering from this health food joint – there are six different healthy options on the 2 for 1 menu. Our favourites include the Superfood soup, which comes packed with quinoa, kale, cabbage, carrots, celery, red onion, and vegetable broth. The Spicy Lemongrass soup with grilled chicken, rice noodles, cilantro, carrots, tomato, mushroom and bean sprouts, and the Asian vegetable soup, made with grilled tofu, spinach, carrots, edamame, celery, corn and rice noodles.

There’s a range of delicious salads, wraps and sandwiches on JOGA’s 2 for 1 list. Tuck in to anything from a tasty tuna salad sandwich, to a tandoori chicken wrap or a green quinoa salad. If you love more exotic flavours, Poke Poke is the place for you. There’s both fish and vegan options available on their 2 for 1 menu, including (our personal favourite) the California Bowl, which comes with raw salmon, mango, avocado, shallots and baby tomatoes. For vegan fans, there’s a bowl packed full of meat-free tofu protein, along with tofu, shallots, cucumber, edamame and snow peas. Have a sweet tooth but still want to be healthy? Try the yummy coconut truffles.

Healthy 27

This health food cafe offers a hipster take on salad (instead calling them “bowls”). We love the Tuna Bowl, which arrives filled up with lettuce, cherry tomatoes, red onion, tuna along with an olive oil, and vinegar lemon dressing. Vegans should try the delicious Beetroot Kale Bowl, packed full of kale, chopped beetroot, and organic quinoa. Other highlights on the menu include their signature Healthy 27 bowl which includes chicken, avocado, cherry tomatoes, corn and lettuce and the Corn Bowl which comes with corn, chopped tomatoes, red onion, pomegranate and a lemon vinegar dressing.

Casa do Acai

As you would expect, there’s plenty of superfood acai dishes on the menu of this Brazilian-themed health cafe. Some of the benefits of the humble South American berry: they’re packed full of antioxidants, healthy fats, vitamins and calcium. Two of favourite dishes on the menu are the Exotic Acai Bowl (organic acai mixed with banana and berries) and the wholesome Oatmeal Bowl (oats cooked with mashed banana, coconut milk and cinnamon).
