Born and raised in Dubai, Ava Hashemi’s Iranian background has a definite impact on her structured, high-end, ready-to-wear clothing and accessory lines for women.

Hashemi started off studying engineering at Boston University but soon realised that fashion design was her true calling. From making clutch bags at home for friends and family to setting up House of Hashe on return to Dubai, Hashemi’s transformation from home designer to fashion label owner has been remarkable. Hashemi sites Celine and Ulyana Sergeenko as influences so expect up-to-the-minute design with Persian influences.
