The Harvey Nichols Dubai autumn/winter 2015 show was one that took us on a magical journey across the globe. Emirates Woman not only sat front row at the prestigious showcase but also got exclusive behind the scenes access…
From the crimping of models’ hair to the runway rehearsals, the main show and capturing the best dressed guests, we documented the entire night, so if you weren’t lucky enough to experience the Harvey Nichols Dubai autumn/winter 2015 show, here’s an exclusive glimpse.
The models strutted down a monochrome marble runway with a holographic backdrop that varied between British stately homes, Parisian palaces, secret gardens, brooding castles and the exotic Middle East.
Trends from the show revealed that fur (albeit fake) is back in a big way from full on coats to lapels and trimmings on skirts. Prints, particularly floral, are also on-trend as is layering of different textures – think wool over silks with leather accessories. Our favourite trend though had to be socks with heels and the return of the fishnet tights. Who said the 1990s was over?

The show ended with an after party which saw the region’s style elite including hot designers Michael Cinco and Essa rubbing shoulders with bloggers, sartorial icons and press dressed to impress. Healthy canapés of seared tuna and mini caviar bites were served while vino and cocktails flowed.
