The Sussexes became a family of four back in June after Prince Harry and Meghan Markle welcomed their second child, Lilibet ‘Lili’ Diana Mountbatten-Windsor.

However, we haven’t seen any photos of the baby girl, up until now that is.

To mark the festive season, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex released their first photo as a family of four featuring baby Lili and two-year-old Archie.

The photo was reportedly taken this past summer at Harry and Meghan’s home in Montecito, California by photographer Alexi Lubomirski, who photographed the couple’s 2018 royal wedding in Windsor.

In the photograph, baby Lili is being held up in the air by her mother with a beaming smile, whilst Archie is in the arms of his father.

The couple shared a message alongside the holiday card.

“Happy Holidays. This year, 2021, we welcomed our daughter, Lilibet, to the world. Archie made us a ‘Mama’ and a ‘Papa’, and Lili made us a family,” the couple said. “As we look forward to 2022, we have made donations on your behalf to several organizations that honor and protect families – from those being relocated from Afghanistan, to American families in need of paid parental leave.”

The card was shared via the Team Rubicon website – an organisation based in the USA led by veterans.

A source close to the couple told People magazine that the couple ” are so happy”.

“This baby [Lili] solidifies that they are creating roots here in the States,” they added.

Earlier this month, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge released their own family photo to mark the festive season which was taken in Jordan where they holidayed during the summer.
