Hailey Bieber has assured fans she is recovering following a stint in hospital after suffering a small blood clot in the brain.
The model took to Instagram to share with her fans that she was taken to hospital on Thursday after “having stroke like symptoms” whilst having breakfast with her husband Justin Bieber.
“They found I had suffered a very small blood clot to my brain, which caused a small lack of oxygen, but my body had passed it on its own and I recovered completely within a few hours,” she shared in a statement on social media.
The 25-year-old went on to say it was “one of the scariest moments I’ve ever been through”, but added she was recovering and resting at home and thanked all of the doctors and nurses who cared for her whilst she was in the hospital.
“Thank you to everyone who has reached out with well wishes and concern and for all the support and love,” she added.
The model didn’t reveal any more details on what could have caused the small blood clot, but TMZ reported that sources revealed to them that doctors thought it could have been COVID-19 related. However, these are unconfirmed claims.
Hailey’s husband of three years, Justin, reportedly contracted the virus a couple of weeks ago.
