Representing on the purple carpet

Last night, all of the Marvel Universe’s biggest stars brought their A game for the premiere of Avengers: Endgame. The film is one of the most anticipated movies of the year, an end of a 10-year journey, which spanned 21 films. This instalment is expected to be the biggest movie opening ever, with a projected $850 million to $900 million at the global box office. So, it is no surprise that the cast were dressed to the nines.

Gwyneth Paltrow has been part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe from the beginning, as she made her first appearance in Iron Man (2008) which kicked off the franchise. She plays the character of Pepper Potts, Tony Stark’s love interest. The last time we saw her, she was berating Tony for abandoning her to fight evil — again. We don’t know if she survived Thanos’ fatal snap, but a recent poster for Avengers: Endgame that showed everyone who is alive and dead confirmed that she did, indeed survive.

At the Los Angeles premiere, the 46-year-old actress wore a blazer dress from G. Label, which she paired with Jimmy Choo shoes. Gwyneth also rocked statement earrings from Beirut based jewellery brand Yvan Tufenkjian and a Jemma Wynne ring.

Her co-star, British actress Karen Gillan also rocked a piece by an Arab jewellery brand. The 31-year-old, who plays the role of Nebula, one of Thanos’ daughters also stunned in a red and black mini-dress from Christopher Kane’s Fall 19 Ready-to-Wear collection. She completed the look with Aveline 100 sandals from Jimmy Choo and diamond earrings from Amwaj.

We are looking forward to seeing Karen reprise her role as Nebula, as she survived the snap. Her character was left stranded in space with Tony Stark, so it will be interesting to watch how this dynamic works out.
