The Twin edit by Alizey & Lailli of

Dubai’s answer to the Olsen twins, Alizey and Lailli of sum up their top style picks. And prove that the right balance of individuality and matching is key to styling it up in pairs

1. Love bracelet Cartier POA here

Every girl needs at least one of these! I never take mine off – it’s the perfect accessory, it’s simple and elegant.

2. Leather skirt Rebecca Taylor Dhs2,462 here

I love this. Lailli and I both live for leather skirts, however, we both wear them very differently! The cut of this skirt is playful and girly but the leather adds a little edge to it, making it very versatile.

3. Bodysuit Maison Martin Margiela Dhs1,740 here

Much like Lailli, I’m a huge Margiela fan, except I’m more into the classic, less extravagant and avant-garde pieces that she prefers. This body suit is very versatile. Versatility is very important to us as we’re shopping on a budget and updating our wardrobes with extravagant pieces just isn’t an option – yet! This bodysuit can go with a simple skirt or a pair of high waist trousers – it would look amazing with a bold, statement necklace too.

4. Bag Chanel POA here

The boy bag is the ultimate “must-have”. This bag can add a little flavour into any outfit, it’s sophisticated yet very edgy – I’d like one in every shape, colour and skin!

5. Lambskin pumps Chanel POA here

I was never a fan of espadrilles until I came across this gorgeous pair of Chanels! They’re super comfortable and are the perfect day-time shoes for traipsing around London.

6. Watch Rolex POA here

This watch is my most prized possession. It’s elegant and is the perfect piece for every occasion as it can be worn with or without other accessories.

1. Classic t-shirt T By Alexander Wang Dhs349 here

Every girl must own at least one plain white t-shirt, I always invest in T by Alexander Wang, Rick Owens and Ann Demeulemeester styles because the jersey is super soft and the life span of the t-shirts in comparison to high-street ones, are a lot longer. They are definitely worth the splurge.

2. Cape shawl A.F.Vandevorst Dhs16,895 here

I’m probably on PETA’s hate list, but I’m totally cool with that. I love fur and luxurious skins, this A.F Vandevorst fur shawl/scarf is the ultimate statement piece.

3. Leather mini skirt Balenciaga Dhs4,000 here

A little black, leather mini skirt is a staple piece in my wardrobe – it can be worn during the day as well as in the evening, depending on how it’s styled. I’d pair it with a simple white t-shirt, killer Balenciaga Ceinture High Derby boots and an oversized cardigan for a casual day look and then swap the boots for a pair of patent black lady peep sling Christian Louboutin heels and an oversized blazer for a more formal evening look.

4. Python duffel bag Givenchy POA here

I’m a huge fan of exotic skins, I love different types of fur and leather and I’ve always been fascinated by luxurious textures and materials from a young age.

I also love massive handbags – hence why this is the perfect bag for me, right now. It’s gorgeous, it’s large and it’s in a fabulous python skin – the amount of junk I could fit in this bag is crazy.

5. Buckle ankle boot Balenciaga POA here

Though my mother has continuously argued that these look like construction worker’s boots, I love them and have done since I saw the first pair down the Balenciaga runway in S/S11. These re-editions are gorgeous; I love the cut-outs and the gold accents and are the perfect pair of man repelling shoes, especially when worn with a pair of white socks.

6. Queen Attitude Kohl Bourjois Dhs40 here

I never leave the house without my black kohl eyeliner on, I swear by this one – it creates the perfect smudgy black eye look – though it doesn’t suit everyone, I love having a plain face with panda eyes!
