From perfect plum pouts to daring smoky eyeshadows and clean dewy skin, we delve into the runway archives and use Gucci cosmetics to recreate the make-up looks with lasting power. Here’s how to achieve perfectly prepped skin with minimal make-up required.

PERFECTLY NUDE

There hasn’t been a year where barely-there make-up hasn’t been a popular choice across the runways. But, is it as achievable as it appears? For some, going nude is as daunting as wearing a full set of false lashes and hot pink lipstick.

Well panic not, with a smudge of liner here and dot of nude lippie there, we will have you looking as enviably undone as the models. #MinimalEffortRequired.

HOW TO GET THE LOOK

Skin:

  • Always prep your skin by cleansing, toning and moisturising.
  • Using your fingertips, apply a pea-sized amount of primer on your forehead, nose, cheeks and chin.
  • With a foundation brush, apply a light covering of foundation followed by a luminous concealer to disguise blemishes and imperfections.
  • Set your foundation with a dusting of finishing powder.

Eyes:

  • Sweep the top right shade of Gucci’s Tuscan Storm eyeshadow quad into the the crease of the eye to create depth.
  • Next, frame the eye with the darkest shade of shadow from the same quad, by dabbing into the upper lash line with a brush.
  • Under the eyes, close to the lash line, softly blend Gucci’s Iconic Gold shadow to define.
  • Highlight the brow bone and inner corners of the eye with the top left shade of the Tuscan Storm quad.
  • Curl lashes with two coats of mascara to the top lashes only.
  • Fill in brows sculpting pencil if needed.

Lips:

  • Add a dab of lip balm for a subtle and healthy sheen.
