Golden Globes 2024 concluded last night and your social media feeds must be flooded with content from the much-awaited award show.

From Taylor Swift, Selena Gomez and Keligh Teller’s animated conversation that has the internet in a chokehold to Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet’s silent whispers that have made a loud roar — there’s a lot to decode.

While we leave the above for the fans to decode and come up with interesting theories, can we take a moment to appreciate the beautiful looks served by the ladies?

The secret ingredient to all the successful red carpet looks is ALWAYS the skin prep. From hydra facials and jade-rolling to dunking the face in the ice bath and chiselling the jaw with a gua sha — before the makeup comes the real prep.

This season, we saw a minimalistic approach to beauty and all the respective artists were seen accentuating the features of their clients with less artificiality.

Think less shiny or smokey lids but instead the comeback of the classic wing and skin-complementing eye shadow. Not many red lips but quite a few nudes and pinks topped with a glossy sheen. Sun-kissed blushes and bronzers were taken down a peg for the freckles and skin texture to show.
