Sticking to your sustainable principles doesn’t mean putting the pause on pampering. With a host of salons and spas across the UAE now offering organic treatments, here’s our pick of the treats…

Organic Glow’s fresh facial

Get some of your five-a-day with a facial at this environmentally friendly salon. Masks at Organic Glow Beauty Lounge are freshly blended to suit different skin types – including oily, acne-prone, dry and sensitive – and include a host of natural fruit and veg ingredients such as exfoliating apple, antioxidant avocado, strengthening and astringent cucumber or vitamin and mineral-rich dates for an über-healthy treat. And if you fancy a top-to-toe overhaul, stay a little longer; the salon has a full menu of beauty services that are all as green as the facials.

Rahua Omega-9 oil treatment for hair

Organic treats needn’t be reserved for your face and body when there’s a rich and indulgent option for your hair too. The Rahua range features plant-derived ingredients sustainably sourced from the Amazon rainforest and promises to repair, nourish, fortify and regenerate locks while adding bounce, volume and shine. The range is used in professional treatments at a number of selected salons and spas across the UAE – but we particularly love the omega-9 treatments at Be Bar, which can be tailored for even the finest of tresses.
