While her younger sister and supermodel Bella Hadid is a regular Cannes attendee, this is the first time Gigi Hadid has walked the red carpet for the prestigious film festival.
For a head-turning appearance, Gigi has taken a style cue from her sibling. Bella is known for bringing the best of archival pieces to the red carpet — this time the 28-year-old model approached a similar strategy for the big debut.
Gigi walked the red carpet for the premiere of Firebrand (Le Jeu De La Reine) in a vintage Zac Posen piece from his 2014, Paris Fashion Week Collection. The mother-of-one looked stunning in a mocha-hued, strapless gown with fabric detailing around the waist.
In terms of jewellery, the former Messika Jewellery ambassador wore their Roaring Diamonds necklace and bracelet from the Paris es tune Fête collection, the Illusionnistes ear clip, the timeless Glam’Azone ring, the Gloria double ring and an exceptional pink and yellow diamond stone Toi&Moi heart-shaped ring.
Dripping in ice, she kept the rest of the look minimal with a classic Hollywood blow-out and some neutral-toned makeup.
As one of the most anticipated releases of the festival, Firebrand had quite a few big names in attendance. From the star of the films Jude Law and Alicia Vikander to names like Michelle Yeoh, Marion Cotillard, Naomi Campbell, Carla Bruni and Irina Shayk. Directed by Karim Aïnouz, the film is a historical drama and explores the story of Katherine Parr, the sixth and final wife of Henry VIII.
