Here are all the products used
For her latest red-carpet appearance, super-model Gigi Hadid opted for a gilded golden eye look, dreamed up by makeup artist Patrick Ta. The sparkly look is perfect for the holidays and what makes it more special is that it was achieved using drug-store products – so time to recreate it.
Last weekend, the 24-year-old made an unexpected appearance at the CMA, where she was Kacey Musgraves’s date. Never missing a chance to impress, Gigi turned heads in her sheer white Helmut Lang dress. But, what was more impressive was the model’s gorgeous makeup look.

This look was created by Gigi’s go-to makeup artist, Patrick Ta, who was “inspired by the flashing lights of Nashville and the vibrant glam of country music.” So, the focus of the look was on the model’s golden shimmery eyes and nude lips, achieved using Maybelline products, which she is the face of.

So, if you like us, will probably re-create this look for every festive party we are invited to, here are the steps to follow.
FACE:
Starting off with the face, Patrick contoured Gigi’s cheeks with the darkest shade of Maybelline FaceStudio Master Contour V-Shape DuoStick in Deep and then followed up with a lighter shade under the eyes, in the center of the forehead, and on the chin and the bridge of the nose – giving her a glowing complexion.
“Next I used the Maybelline FitMe Blush in Nude and applied it to the apples of her cheeks, blending into the contour for a seamless finish,” Ta said in a release. “For a subtle but impactful highlight, I applied Maybelline FaceStudio Master Chrome Metallic Highlighter in Molten Gold to the highest but flattest points of her cheekbones. I set the look using the Maybelline FaceStudio Lasting Fix Makeup Setting Spray to ensure her glam stays put all night!”
EYES:
The main beauty of this look falls on the eyes, and here is what you need to do. Patrick used the Maybelline Lemonade Craze Eyeshadow Palette and applied the shade Sweet Tea with a fluffy blush and applied it to Gigi’s crease, blending out to make sure there were no hard edges. He then went in with the shade Sherbet, running it across her entire eyelid using a flat brush.
To sharpen the look, he then reapplied Sweet Tea, but this time to her lower lash line, to tie the shades together. He then drew a sharp eyeliner wing using Maybelline’s TattooStudio Sharpenable Gel Pencil Longwear Eyeliner in Deep Onyx. To complete the look, Patrick then toped it all off with two coats of The Falsies Black Drama Washable Mascara.
LIPS:
Finally for the lips, Patrick went in for the nude, as to not take away from the eyes, while also making an impression. “I created Gigi’s statement nude lip by lining the lips with Maybelline Color Sensational Shaping Lip Liner in Purely Nude, followed by Maybelline Color Sensational The Loaded Bolds Lipstick in Nude Thrill,” Ta said.
