At 1.70m (5ft 7in) and weighing 50-55kg, the actress, film producer and mother-of-one manages to stay in terrific shape whilst leading a busy lifestyle. She does this by combining healthy eating with regular exercise. Here we reveal her diet and health secrets.

SANDRA BULLOCK’S DIET

The actress follows a healthy low carb diet and when she does eat carbs she tries to stick to ones that are full of fibre and low on the GI scale. The Miss Congeniality actress also tries to eat five to six times a day to keep her metabolism constantly high.

SANDRA BULLOCK’S DIET ADVICE

The mother to adopted son, Louis, believes in eating regular meals but having a cheat day to indulge. Sandra is all about healthy eating and prioritizing exercise while having a positive attitude. She believes that healthy eating shouldn’t be about depriving yourself but instead about doing what’s right for your, and what’s you feel good. The actress follows a disciplined six-day routine, but gives herself a day off for her body to relax and to indulge in her favourite foods. 

EXAMPLES OF MEALS (BASED ON A LOW CARB DIET) 

Breakfast

  • Scrambled eggs and a grilled tomato

Lunch

  • Grilled chicken salad with feta cheese, black beans, spinach and balsamic vinegar dressing

Evening meal

  • Grilled Salmon fillet with brown rice and broccoli

Snacks

  •  Nuts and seeds
  •  Apple slices

 

SANDRA BULLOCK’S WORKOUT

Sandra is inspired to stay in top shape with the movie roles she undertakes, some of which are often demanding and challenging – like being suspended in mid-air during the filming of Gravity.

When it comes to getting in shape, the star, likes to mix things with yoga, strength training, cardio workouts, kickboxing, toning, hiking etc. However her secret weapon is her trainer Simone De La Rue, who has a number of A-list clients including Naomi Watts and Anne Hathaway. The celebrity trainer is famous for her training techniques which incorporates a mixture of dance, cardio, yoga and pilates.
