Ellie Goulding is inspiring women everywhere to get fit. The British beauty, who comes in at 165cm (5ft 5ins) and weighs approximately 123.5lbs (56kg), is the face of Nike’s new campaign and the star of the inspiring Nike video A Melody Of Movement. However, Ellie wasn’t always such a fitness fanatic, it wasn’t until she was in her late teens that she developed a passion for running, and now a couple of marathons later she is looking ab-tastic. Find out how she does it… #EWGetsFit
The health conscious 28-year-old singer has been posting a number of images of her impressive abs and physique on Instagram, spreading fitness inspiration and motivation. “I feel quite proud to be an ambassador for women who realise that being fit is better than being skinny,’’ said Ellie Goulding of her new role with Nike.
ELLIE GOULDING’S DIET
The Platinum-selling artist has been following a plant-based diet for less than a year (going between vegan and vegetarian diet plans) and has already noticed a significant difference in her appearance. “My body’s different, my skin is different, my face shape is different and my eyes are brighter,” Ellie told the Daily Star. Botanical diets tend to be lower in calories, are dense in fibre and are packed with nutrients. The change and feel good attitude the star exudes is evident in her new Nike campaign, where the songwriter looks ultra-fit and yet still very feminine in the trendy athletic wear.

ELLIE GOULDING’S ON FITNESS AND HEALTH

“The reason I keep pushing myself is that I know I have strength that I haven’t gotten yet.”
“I don’t have the perfect body, but I don’t train to look good. That’s just a cool bonus.”
