Celebrated stylists and educators based in Dubai and Abu Dhabi are coming together to raise much-needed funds for those impacted by the devastating blast in Beirut, and all they need is you.
Whether you’re overdue a haircut or want to get your locks ready for Emirati Women’s Day celebration, the latest initiative will see the full amount of your appointment go to the Lebanese Red Cross.
Coordinated by Natalie Kasses, L’Oreal International Ambassador, the appointments have to be made between August 28 and August 31 and your options are a wash, cut and blow-dry with any stylist for Dhs315, or just a wash and blow-dry for Dhs105.
“As we have all looked on helplessly and have had so many clients sitting in our chairs sharing the experiences of their family and friends, we wanted to help,” explains Kasses. “The initiative came together from a community desire to take action and help the people of Beirut during this hardship.”
All the stylist involved are from the L’Oreal Academy and also the EIDEAL Academy, so not only will you come out with a fabulous do, but you will also be doing something important for the people of Lebanon.
“The EIDEAL HQ in Beirut got completely decimated by the explosion but thankfully all our colleagues, families and friends escaped and were completely safe,” says Haysam Eid, Managing Director of EIDEAL. “But we have total empathy for the people of Beirut who lost not just businesses and homes but loved ones. We wanted to do something to show our support and that our thoughts and prayers are with them at this difficult time, so we were more than willing to offer the use of the EIDEAL Academy for this event.”
