International fashion designer, and former Emirates Woman cover star, Amina Muaddi has been dominating the shoe realm for several seasons – her Gilda heels were even voted one of the hottest products of 2020 earlier this year.
Following on from her eagerly awaited collaboration with Rihanna’s luxury brand, Fenty, Muaddi is now expanding her universe with the introduction of handbags.
Sharing the news on Instagram, she revealed that her range of bags will be landing in the next three weeks (*adds to calendar) and is dubbed the “AMINIS.”
The structure square mini bags will come in a range of colours we have seen throughout her shoe collection, including neon pink, black, silver and vibrant purple.

With a sating or leather finish, all of the “AMINIS” feature a bejewelled handle, making us think of her much-loved Gilda silhouette that has embellished straps.
We expect these little gems to sell out as quickly as her blink-and-they’re-gone flared heels which she previously told EW were designed with style and comfort in mind.
“I love vintage looking flared, chunky heels but they don’t look as refined as stiletto heels do,” she said. “So, I thought of taking the body of a stiletto heel and ending it like a massive flared heel. I wanted to make a feminine heel that looked fresh and didn’t sacrifice our comfort.”
