This recipe for turkey meatballs with spaghetti will become a family favourite with the adults and kids alike.
Ingredients
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1tbsp sunflower oil
- 225g turkey mince
- 40g breadcrumbs
- 25g parmesan, grated
- Half small apple, peeled
- and grated
- 1 egg yolk
- 2tsp fresh sage, chopped
Dipping Sauce
- 2tbsp tomato ketchup
- Half tsp sweet chilli sauce
- 2tsp lime juice
Method
1. Heat the oil in a saucepan and sauté the onion until soft about 6 minutes, leave to cool. Mix the turkey, breadcrumbs, sautéed onion, parmesan, grated apple, egg yolk, and sage. Lightly dust in flour. Heat 2tbsp oil in a frying pan. Cook the turkey balls for five to six minutes until golden and cooked through.
2. Mix together all the ingredients for the dipping and serve with the turkey balls.
