Finally! The images we have long been yearning to see – the first picture of the adorable Prince George with his baby sister Princess Charlotte. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have finally released images of their children Prince George and his month-old sister Princess Charlotte, posting the images via the Kensington Palace Twitter and Instagram accounts – they are the modern royals after all.
In the sweet pictures George, all rosy cheeked and wearing what now seems to be his trademark long blue socks, is seen delicately planting a kiss on Charlotte’s head. The loving series of photos were taken by proud mum, Kate Middleton herself at the family’s country home, Anmer Hall in Norfolk, just two weeks after Charlotte’s birth on May 2.
There’s no doubt that the clothes worn by the tots, who both have the cute Middleton dimples, will soon be fashion staples – past outfits worn by trendsetter George, who will be two soon, have sold out in stores in a matter of hours after being seen on the tot.
In case you were wondering, in the new family portraits, George is wearing Rachel Riley blue shorts, piped shirt, knee-high socks and navy Start-rite shoes. The little Princess wears a woollen jumper with matching white tights and a frill collar body suit from Polarn O. Pyret.
The family have been based at Anmer Hall, which was redecorated by Kate, since leaving London shortly after the birth of the princess.
Prince William and Catherine are expected to be based there for the next few years as they raise Princess Charlotte and Prince George, who is almost two, with the help of a full-time nanny.
