The collection will consist of the late designers past work.

Fendi will stage it’s Haute Couture show in Rome on July 4.

According to WWD the runway will pay tribute to the late Karl Lagerfeld who passed away in February, two days before the brand’s fall ready-to-wear show in Milan.

Lagerfeld was the creative director of the Italian fashion house for 54 years, one of the longest collaborations that there has ever been between a designer and a house. With that in mind Bernard Arnault, chairman and chief executive officer of parent company LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton, stated that the show would “reprise all his creations during his time at Fendi.”

The exact location has not been revealed but the house has confirmed that the collection, designed by the brand’s creative studio and Silvia Venturini Fendi, will be on display in Rome after it has walked the runway.

Lagerfeld previously held a show in Rome with Trevi Fountain as the backdrop for the labels 90th anniversary. His successor at Fendi has not yet been announced.
