We take a look inside the most anticipated film of the year, The Great Gatsby.
With the 1920s inspired wardrobe designed by Muccia Prada, jewels by Tiffany &Co. and the soundtrack filled with Beyoncé, Lana Del Ray and Jay Z, to name but a few, how could we not be intrigued?
Throw in the cream of the acting crop, Leonardo DiCaprio, Carey Mulligan and Tobey Maguire, all embroiled in a juicy love triangle and you have yourself a hit.
Adapted from F. Scott Fitzgerald’s 1925 novel, the 3D romantic drama is directed and co-written by Baz Luhrmann, the man responsible for Moulin Rouge and Romeo and Juliet.
The plot follows Nick Carraway, a naive budding writer, lured into the lavish world of mysterious millionaire, Jay Gatsby played by DiCaprio.
Illustrating all that the roaring twenties in New York epitomised, the film touches on love, obsession, excess, tradgy and of course, fabulous fashions.
