Just when we thought H&M couldn’t top their collaborations with the likes of Marni and Lanvin, they pull off another massive coup. The Swedish high street chain has done it again by teaming up with Parisian designer Isabel Marant.
Known for her embellished designs with a boyish charm, Isabel will launch a collection with H&M in November this year.
With a string of cool celebrities, including Kate Bosworth and Alexa Chung, wearing her clothes we expect a collection of nonchalant, yet chic pieces that may include; well-cut trousers, loose fit t-shirts and effortless print dresses. But what we’ve really got our fingers crossed for is a pair of her famous suede fringe ankle boots.
“I aim at creating something real that women want to wear in their everyday lives, with a certain carelessness, which I think is very Parisian,” explains Isabel. “You dress up, but do not pay too much attention and still look sexy.”
Nice work H&M!
