This morning saw Senior Editor Sophia and Style Editor Jade up bright and early for the opening of the brand new Chanel boutique in the Mall of Emirates.
Positioned on the first floor of the Fashion Dome, the vast boutique houses everything from exclusive pieces – including the Hula Hoop bag – to watches, ready-to-wear, sunglasses and shoes.
The new boutique is inspired by Coco Chanel’s apartment in Paris
Designed by architect Peter Marino, who’s been creating the interiors of Chanel boutiques for over two decades reveals: “We always start by referencing the iconography of Chanel, think Coco Chanel’s Paris apartment.”
You will also notice other familiar Chanel references such as tweed covered sofas, cream and black walls and the iconic Chanel Camelia dotted around on furnishings.
Don’t miss the beautiful display of Camelias hanging from the Fashion Dome
Team EW spent an hour wandering around the luxurious boutique, which has partitioned walls between each section giving the feel of a Parisian apartment.
