After taking a break for it’s usual schedule, Fashion Forward Dubai has modernised itself into a see-now-buy-now platform.
Taking a cue from other fashion weeks and brands from around the world who have embraced the ‘shop now’ formula, the October edition of one of the leading fashion events in the region will see designers showcasing collections that will be available for purchase via a digital and physical presence at the event.
In addition, Fashion Forward Dubai will be amplifying the retail pop-up offering for a selection of the region’s leading apparel and accessory designers, while reviving the global brand and partner activations across the venue.
“Given our long-standing and deep-rooted presence in the regional fashion industry, we have come to understand that this is the best way to merge the retail advantage that Dubai has to offer with the commercial objectives of developing and established brands. Based on this we are connecting with dynamic designers, brands, and retail partners to bring our innovative vision to life,” said Bong Guerrero, CEO and Co-Founder of Fashion Forward Dubai.
Designers have until June 27 to register their interest to show at the event. Past runway shows include Eudon Choi, Madiyah Al Sharqi, Hussein Bazaza and Michael Cinco.
Fashion Forward Dubai is set to take place on 30 October – 2 November 2019 at the Dubai Design District.
