While studying Business Management in India Zareena became inspired to begin a worldwide search for the exquisite textures, adornments and needlework that eventually became the trademark of her internationally acclaimed gowns.
In the late 1980s, she launched her first collection. Her goal was to create a line characterised by timeless pieces with simple cuts and flowing fabrics. Her fairy tale dresses dazzled audiences and the clients kept coming back. By 1994, Zareena had established her fashion house, Fasateen, in Dubai.
