Three brothers, Babak, Haman and Farhan Golkar founded the The Emperor 1688 menswear label in 2007. Babak studied his craft at The London College of Fashion and has won a number of design awards. Haman honed his fashion design skills at Central Saint Martins College in London while Farhan pursued his studies in design at the Chelsea College of Art. Together, the brothers won the prestigious Esquire Designer of the Year Award in 2011 and were nominated again in 2012.
