It’s not all loop-the-loops and stomach-churning roller coasters…
We’re into the final countdown for Dubai Parks & Resort, the four-theme-parks-in-one project found in Jebel Ali. Legoland will open on October 31, Bollywood Parks and Legoland Water Park will open on November 15, and Motiongate will open on December 16.
Now while there’s plenty for the kids at Legoland – think giant models and gentle rides – the Hollywood-themed Motiongate has thrills like roller coasters and white water rapids.
But if you’re planning on visiting with young ones, fret not – there’s a range of attractions that the whole family can enjoy.
So if your little ones are pumped to go, but – alas – are too little to ride the coasters, then read on…

This promises a frenetic, fun dark ride inside the world’s only hotel for monsters (careful, it might be a tad scary for some!).

There’ll also be crime-fighting tips from The Green Hornet and Kato as well as meet and greets from Flint Lockwood and Sam Sparks from Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs and Selene from Underworld.

A family-friendly ride that takes you behind the scenes of a working Smurfs studio.
