Bottega Veneta was one of the more private, smaller shows at Milan Fashion Week but just like the brand, the show was discreet yet luxurious…

The cashmere leotard, expensive sweats and oversize totes had us at hello, not to mention the sequined detail dresses, floor-length lemon trench and cardigans both loose and long, made for another successful collection by Tomas Maier.

Unlike New York or Paris Fashion Week, the Italians like to applaud, shout ‘bravo’ and give standing ovations and this was the case at Giorgio Armani. The living legend designed another understated but incredibly detailed collection with accessories that will never go out of style. Pastel hues, easy animal prints and feathery skirts opened the show followed by his trademark slouchy trousers, perfectly cut blazers and white day suits, all well worth the standing ovation.
