It’s particularly big with the regional style set.

It first popped on to our radar when supermodel Bella Hadid sported a cropped hoodie from the SS18 collection late last year.

And ever since then, we’ve not been able to scroll through Instagram without seeing Lama Jouni pop up somewhere.

The Dubai-based label is the brainchild of Lebanese designer Lama Jouni, who moved to Paris in 2007 to study at the famed Parsons school of art and design.

After stints at fashion houses including Balmain, Rad Hourani and Reed Krakoff, Jouni launched her eponymous ready-to-wear brand back in 2013.

And while it’s been popular among the style-savvy for some time, 2018 is the year we reckon the label will go stratospheric.

The SS18 collection is a particular triumph, with its slouchy androgynous tailoring, street-wise separates and avant-garde draping (you can find the brand at Tryano in Abu Dhabi, the LE66 Concept Store in Beirut or online).

It’s been winning celebrity endorsement after celebrity endorsement in recent months—just scroll down for further proof…
